Slabs are sold as-is. Pictures are taken immediately after being cut and are then stacked flat to dry. We take every precatution possible to minimize warping and checking, although wood can sometimes move while drying. Many of our customers enjoy this natural look. If this is a concern for you, please inquire before ordering and we can check into the condition of the slab. No returns.

Our precision bandsaw mill can cut any log up to 72" wide and up to 40 feet long! We carry all sizes and shapes and keep all slabs from each log together to have a wide assortment of bookmatched slabs. We cut slabs of all types for dining tables, coffee tables, bar tops, counter tops, circles, turning blocks, mantels, and beams. If you are looking for something outside of our typical operations, custom sawing is also available. 

**Shipping policies**
We are located in IA, and have reasonable shipping options to anywhere in the continental U.S. Slabs are removed from inventory at time of payment. Your uniques slab will then be loaded on a wooden pallet with a protective cardboard covering to ensure safe transit. Slabs are shipped to the nearest shipping distribution center near you.  **Please provide a contact name and phone number** This information will be provided to the freight carrier - they will call you directly to schedule your pickup. Slabs can be shipped directly to a business address with a fork lift or loading dock at no additional cost and can be shipped directly to a residential address for an additional $75. We will ship it to the local shipping distribution center unless we are notified otherwise. Within 24-48 hours of slab pickup, a message will be sent with tracking information and the freight carrier contact info. Total time for delivery is estimated from 7 to 14 business days. Within the Continental U.S. only. No International Shipping.
